Garibaldi's island , after La Maddalena, is the second largest island of the park but it is the first for the beauty of its coastline and its beaches and unusual vegetation: forests of pines and oaks, junipers and a thick Mediterranean intense aroma of myrtle, mastic and arbutus.
Caprera is connected to La Maddalena by a bridge on which runs the access road to the Garibaldi Museum.
In the Gulf of Porto Palma, site of the famous sailing school center, known all over the world. Enchanting in the slope of the Northeast, where the reef plunges to the sea and the coast has inlets and coves of great beauty including the famous Cala Coticcio. To the north-west, lie the islands instead of Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli, Santa Maria.
